1.2 What we collect
• Email address when you join the waitlist or subscribe to updates.
• Survey responses when you choose to participate in surveys hosted on third-party platforms such as Google Forms.
• Basic technical data generated by your browser or our hosting provider, for example IP address, device type, pages viewed, and timestamps. We do not use cookies at this time.
1.3 How we use your data
• To send product updates, early access invitations, promotions, and service announcements you requested.
• To understand customer needs and improve our products using aggregated survey insights.
• To secure and operate the website, for example fraud prevention and diagnostics, and to meet legal obligations.
1.4 Basis for processing and consent: We collect and use your personal data with your consent. You can withdraw consent at any time by unsubscribing or emailing info@oystera.sg. If you withdraw consent we will stop the related processing.
1.5 Sharing your data: We use trusted service providers to run our website and communications. Examples include email and form services and survey platforms such as Google. These providers act on our instructions and protect your data. We do not sell your personal data.
1.6 Overseas transfers: Our service providers may store or process data outside Singapore. When this happens we ensure there is a standard of protection comparable to the PDPA.
1.7 Retention
• Waitlist or marketing emails: kept until you unsubscribe or until the purpose no longer applies.
• Survey data: kept only as long as needed for analysis, then stored in aggregated or de-identified form where possible.
• System logs: kept for a limited time for security and troubleshooting.
1.8 Your rights under the PDPA
You may request:
• Access to your personal data in our possession.
• Correction of your personal data if it is inaccurate or incomplete.
• Withdrawal of consent for any purpose you previously agreed to.
To exercise these rights, email info@oystera.sg. We may need to verify your identity and may charge a reasonable fee for access requests as allowed by law.
1.9 Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the nature of the data. No method of transmission or storage is fully secure, but we aim to protect your data against unauthorised access, use, and disclosure.
1.10 Children
This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. Parents or guardians who believe a child has provided data should contact us and we will delete it.
1.11 Third-party sites
Our surveys and social links may lead you to third-party websites. Their privacy practices apply on those sites.
